We had a fantastic trip to the beach!
It started with playing in the sand and hula-hooping at Lulu's since we couldn't check in to our hotel until 4pm.

The first full day that we were there, it rained, but not enough to keep us inside! It was windy and cloudy, but we still had a great time! Genna worked hard digging and building sand castles.
We came up to our condo and had a healthy, nutritious lunch which included cheese puffs and oreos (which Genna ate together...yuck!)
Genna wrote her whole name in the sand with a feather that she found and kept for the rest of the trip.
Day 3 was bright and sunny and hot. Genna insisted on having her goggles on at the swimming pool at all times.
We had lunch with one of Brian's friends who moved about a year ago and while we were out, we bought Genna a boogie board, which was definitely our best purchase of the trip. She had SO MUCH FUN!!!
We played putt-putt golf that night with about a million other people. The waiting time left us plenty of time for silly pictures.
On our last full day, we let Genna do this trampoline, bungee-jumping-type thing. They attached her to these bungee cords and she jumped on a trampoline really high. She giggled and squealed the whole time...loved every minute!
We ate dinner at a restaurant at a marina and walked around afterwards to look at the boats and enjoy a beautiful sunset.
On our way home, we had to stop at Souvenir City, or "the Shark store" as Genna calls it.
We really missed this little guy! He had his own vacation with his Memama and Grandaddy and big cousin, Charlie. They rode horses, tractors, went swimming, caught fish and had lots of fun! We decided he would have more fun there than at the beach with the sun, sand and water (that he doesn't care for).

Fun! What a wonderful vacation! Due to pregnancy we didn't go to the beach this year- I've been on VRBO all night trying to work out a last minute trip. I will remember the boogie board suggestion if we do.
