Back in April...

ANDREW TURNED 4!!!  How has time flown by so fast???  I can't believe my baby boy is 4 years old.  He's a sweet, crazy boy who loves Legos, monster trucks, Batman and Spiderman, and most of all, his sister!  We had originally planned a fun little party at "our park" that is near our house for Sunday, but it rained us out, so we had it after school on Monday.  It was April 15th, or Tax Day as it is known at our house, but Daddy was able to leave work for a little while in his Batman shirt to surprise Andrew.

Genna's 7th birthday

 So, Genna turned 7 in March.  We had a super-fun "almost sleepover."  That means lots of little girls come play, we feed them junk food and cake, then send them home at bedtime!  There are tons of pictures, but I didn't want to put pictures without permission from the other girls' parents, so I just picked a few.

They decorated their own aprons so that they decorate cookies (Genna's #1 priority), had a dance party, opened presents, watched a Strawberry Shortcake movie, ate lots of popcorn...you get the idea.

And, Andrew insisted it was NOT just a girl's party because he was invited, too!

Hiking

We have really enjoyed hiking lately.  We've been to several local places with trail guides and the kids absolutely LOVE it!  They like to be the "fearless leader" and follow maps, imagine how that tree might have fallen, etc.

 

And it always seems to end with Andrew almost asleep on Brian's shoulder.

One cold day in January....

  It snowed!

Okay, seriously late, I know.  Just going back to document a little since Christmas.  So, here it is...our little snowfall in January.  Genna made it home from school in time to play for a little while before it all melted away.  Fun times.
