Silly girl

I was trying to take pictures today of some of my new items for my sewing blog and Genna just insisted that I take pictures of her, too. So, every other picture that I took was of her (sometimes with the item). What can I say...she's not camera-shy! She loves to have her picture taken (that is, when she wants to).

Week with my cousins

Last week, we spent a few days with Aunt Andrea, Uncle Kevin, Charlie and Mary Frances.

Genna loves her Charlie....

and her Mary Frances...they love their matching nightgowns!

We went to play at a fun park near their house one day. The girls followed each other around while Charlie played mostly on his own.

Painting

This weekend, we went to a friend's birthday party where we painted an ice cream dish. Genna has never really painted, but I think she did a good job! She only wanted to paint the inside of the bowl, though. Anyway, the party started out with them drawing with chalk on the chalkboard painted wall as everyone was arriving. She loved this, even though you can't tell by the face she is making in the picture. What 2-year-old doesn't love coloring on the wall???

Then they used crayons to decorate a bag that their bowl will be kept in until it is picked up. Now, this, she is an expert at. Coloring is one of her favorite things to do. In fact, she will tell you, "It's my favorite!" I don't really think she knows what that means, but she likes saying it.

Then, the painting started. The girls were given red, blue and purple, so, basically, Genna's bowl will just be purple after she got through mixing all of the colors.

In this picture, I had just asked her to show me her bowl and she responded "Right there"

Fun at the pool

We had a great time at Memama and Grandaddy's these past few days! Genna had such a good time at the pool! She has learned to hold her breath under water and even swim a little. She went down the slide over and over (and over).
