Visit with Santa and decorating

Seems like Andrew likes Santa, doesn't it?
He had enough pretty quickly. Genna did tell Santa what she wanted..."a walking and talking toy dog and something where she can cook real food" ...this was news to Mama and Daddy. We knew about the toy dog, but not the Easy Bake oven she was referring to. She later said to me, "I sure hope he doesn't think I am talking about a real dog!"

Our tree

This is on the tree in the den...Andrew helped in case you can't tell...

He helped on the big tree some, too, but mostly he carried around ornaments.

Genna was a big help this year. She hung all of the ornaments on the bottom of the tree and did a good job!

Thanksgiving pictures

Setting the table...

Andrew and Grandaddy playing horses

pretty picture of the horses...

A couple of months ago, Genna would not even walk in the yard if she could see Pudge. Now, she practically lays on her.

Visiting outside in the sunshine. Yes, there were chairs. We chose to sit on the ground!

Andrew playing in the truck...one of his favorite things to do

Daddy and I went riding through the woods. I love this tree.

Halloween 2011

Cutest cowboy EVER!

This cute kitty cat couldn't put down her snow cone to have her picture taken.

playing games at the church trunk-or-treat

Snow cones, balloon animals, music to dance to and lots and lots of CANDY!

Monday night we went trick-or-treating down our street. Thanks Daddy for the hard work pulling these 2 around in the wagon up and down hills!
By the way, this is the only time Andrew had this hat on. In fact, he's in the process of taking it off in this picture.

Fall Fun

I guess I should clarify...Genna's fall fun.
She has had a very fun month. It started with fall festival at her school where she rode her first carnival ride by herself and laughed the whole time! I was afraid she would get scared, but she didn't!

She also got her hair and face painted and thought it was really great. We even went out to eat afterwards like that and she just laughed as people looked at her!

She also had a fun field trip to a pumpkin patch and Mama got to go, too!
Here we are eating lunch in the loft of a barn. This was the kids' favorite part.

jumping on hay bales...

She FINALLY picked a pumpkin.

They also had lots of animals to look at. This is the first year that she has had any interest in that. Usually she is scared of anything that moves.

Our climber...

So, should I have taken the time to get the camera before getting him down? Probably not, but in my defense, it was very close by. Andrew is very different from Genna. She would have NEVER thought to just climb up and get whatever it was that she wanted...in fact, she still doesn't. If he can't reach it, he will find a way.

Please pay no attention to the messy pantry!

Andrew started Play School!
He's in the Monkey Class, so, of course, I had to make him a monkey shirt!
And, yes, he did wear shoes.
