Crawling and 9 months

Andrew's 9 month stats:
19 lbs. 4 oz
29 inches tall

He is crawling all over the house and can go from crawling to sitting up. He can pull up on me, so I know it's only a matter of time before he's pulling up on everything else. That means time to move the crib all the way down to its lowest setting, so that's what Brian did on Saturday, with Andrew's help, of course.

He thinks his mobile is much more fun now that it's not attached to the bed.

Here's a video of him crawling. It's a funny crawl that I want to remember...it's not going to last much longer, though. He has started to at least try to crawl normally over the last few days.

Indoor fun

It has been so cold here lately that we had to find a place to play that would be inside. Luckily, there is a new place near our house that is an indoor playground. We went to a Kindermusik demo which the kids LOVED and then had free time to play.

He really was smiling behind the paci. He sat in this ball pit (which was actually a blow-up pool filled with little plastic balls) with no fussing for probably 15 minutes or more.

Sweet Olivia had fun riding on this 4-wheeler

Genna climbing on the playground equipment. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of her because I couldn't catch her!

Andrew also really liked the swing. He would have fallen asleep here if I had let him stay longer.

Happy New Year!

Looking like a big boy...

New clothes...Because we have been blessed with so many hand-me-downs from several people, this is the first dressy outfit that I have bought for Andrew (and it's not like he needed this one; I just thought it was too cute!)

If you look really close, you can see one of my new teeth.

New dragon hooded towel (Thanks, Ashley!)

Christmas Day - part 2

We all left our house around 9:30 a.m. on Christmas Day and headed to Andrea and Kevin's house. I don't have very many pictures for some reason. Genna pretty much played in their play room or Mary Frances's room the whole time, only coming downstairs to open a few presents. For those of you who don't know my crazy child, Genna does not like fireplaces. She's okay with ours since I guess she's used to it and knows that we never have an actual fire in it, but anytime we go to a house that has one, it takes her a long time to warm up to even being in the room with it.

Andrew was very social, though, content being passed around and opening presents.

This is the only picture I have of Genna or Charlie. They gave her the Play-Doh Ice Cream Shop and she LOVES it!

Mary Frances opening the locket that Memama and Grandaddy gave her (Genna got one, too). She is definitely a girl who loves jewelry!

Andrew's first football. And it's even the right colors!

Christmas Day - part 1

Santa came!!!

Genna was so excited about the bicycle that he brought to her!

She immediately had to go to her room to get one of her animals to ride in the basket.

Andrew just looks like he's thinking "what am I supposed to do with this???"

He really likes this little truck.

Genna picked out presents to give to everyone from just her. She was SO EXCITED to give them. Memama got hand soap, Grandaddy got a Wall-E puzzle...

and Daddy got bouncy balls. Notice the necklace she is wearing. She was jumping up and down from excitement as she was telling Brian what it was before he could open it.

Andrew got a Little People barn and a shape sorter.

Genna was also thrilled with "her very own Barbie" as she kept calling it.

I think Andrew likes his barn.

He also likes the keys that Genna gave him.

He actually helped open presents...he enjoyed ripping the paper.

The best present anyone could have given him!!!

We had a very fun Christmas morning and were so glad to have Memama and Grandaddy here to share it with us! Our children are very blessed by all of the people who love them and they will both be busy for a long time playing with all of their new toys!
