This past weekend, we went to Grandma's house to visit and to celebrate Daddy's birthday...

New blog

Okay, so I now have 2 blogs...
One is for family and one is an attempt to sell some of my "crafts". I have been making the pretty burp cloths for awhile, but I have just recently added the monogramming. I am also trying to add some new products, like towels, tote bags, bibs, pacifier clips, and basically anything else that can be monogrammed. I am also more than willing to monogram things that you have already purchased. My problem is letting people know!!! So, for all of you Birmingham visitors to this blog, next time you need something monogrammed, please think of me!!!
And, spread the word, please!

Trip to the Zoo

We recently went to the zoo for the first time this summer. We went a couple of times last summer, but I'm sure Genna doesn't remember it. She seemed to enjoy seeing the animals and being outside, even though it was extremely hot! I didn't take that many pictures, but here are a few...

Someone gave her this meerkat fan and she didn't let go of it for the rest of the trip, so all of the pictures of her will also have a meerkat :-)

McWane Center

While Charlie and Mary Frances were visiting, we went to a children's museum. It was so much fun! The kids (and the parents) really enjoyed themselves. The pictures are not great because they were way too busy to stop and smile for pictures...

Happy 4th of July!

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We enjoyed having Memama and Grandaddy as well as Aunt Anda, Uncle Kevin, Charlie and Mary Frances come to visit us for the weekend to celebrate the holiday and also Aunt Anda's birthday!

I'm Strong!

This is heard very often lately. She has some small chairs that she carries around the house, then declares "I trong!" (interpreted "I'm strong"). She also says it when she helps me carry the laundry to the laundry room :-)

Baseball game!

Last night, we went to a baseball game with Mama and Daddy's Sunday School class. We had a great time and our team won! At the end, there were fireworks, which were very loud, but pretty. I'm still not sure if I like fireworks....

The best part of the night was when Mama let me have a juice box (I usually make way too big of a mess to have those!)

By the end of the night, it was definitely time to go home!!!
I had had enough fun for one night!
