Christmas morning

Santa came! He brought Andrew a tool bench, a horse stable, and some train tracks!

Santa brought Genna a "walking and talking toy dog," A Rapunzel Barbie and a real camera!
She doesn't look at all excited in this picture, but she really was. Funniest thing was that she ran right past the dog (the main thing she was asking for) to get to her stocking. We had to point it out to her and she squealed all over again!

"Look, Grandaddy! Trains! You open it (for) me?"
Genna: "Look! It says Toys R Us! That is so silly!"
Just the night before, I said about something that said Walmart...I guarantee you she will notice this. She insists that the only reason for toys being at stores is so that Santa and the elves have an example of what you like. They actually make the toys in their workshop.

I've never seen a child be so excited about paper! "Paper...of my very own???!!! Now, we don't have to share!"

Now he can really work with a power drill and an apron.

"Here, let me use my saw to open this box"

"Daddy, do you need my saw to help open your present?"

Genna was so excited to give Andrew a sleeping bag! She's been talking about it for months.

Such concentration...

Christmas Eve

Genna's a pro at cookie-making...

Andrew's first time to be included.
He puts icing on...

Mama scrapes most of it off while pretending to "help"...

Andrew eats the cookie. This happened twice, then he was finished. Until next year!

The finished products. Don't they look delicious???

Our family dressed up for church.

Memama and Grandaddy were here with us. Grandma was here, too, but I don't have one of her in front of the Christmas tree.

Patiently waiting to open the presents from Aunt Joan and Uncle Don like we always do on Christmas Eve...

Andrew loves all of his animals!

I'm pretty sure Genna has never seen so much plastic food! The perfect addition to her new grocery cart!

Andrew loves his Grandaddy!

Cookies and milk for Santa are ready!
We told Genna that Santa would not come unless she was asleep...she's too smart for us...she replied, "No, everybody has to be asleep before he comes, so you have to go to bed, too!" She cannot stand that she goes to bed before us!

Coming up (tomorrow)...Christmas Day!

Christmas with Memama and Grandaddy

Memama and Grandaddy let the kiddos open one present each while they were at their house. The girls LOVED their tea sets and served us tea all weekend in these tiny little cups.

Attempt #1 at a Christmas card picture

Christmas with the Lyon's...

Andrew and his "marching band." Not sure where he has ever heard of a marching band, but that's exactly what he screamed when he opened up this drum. Thanks, Kim!

Genna and Kathryn playing with her new Lite Brite. So much fun!

Andrew made beautiful music for us for the rest of the night ;-)

Another attempt at a Christmas card photo. The ones of the 2 kids were not even worth posting!

Attempt #2: Maybe if we do the girls and boys separately?

Attempt #3: Success!
