Georgia Aquarium

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Georgia Aquarium. It was Princess Day, so that's why Genna is wearing a princess dress and a crown. We had a great time! The pictures are not great since it was so dark, but here are a few anyway.

Monogrammed/Appliqued items for sale

Most of you know, I think, that I have another blog which is one of my links on the right where I post pictures of my sewing/monogramming projects each month. Spring!

A few weeks ago, we had a picnic at a local botanical garden. The tulips were beautiful just like last year and both of the kids had a great time playing in the sunshine.

Andrew is walking great now, but on this day, he did not like walking on the grass, so he was so funny crawling like this...

So, as you can see, Andrew is walking and he is very proud of himself. He started taking some steps about 2 weeks before his birthday, but he is really walking good now. He LOVES balls or balloons or just about anything else round that he can throw.

I can't believe my baby boy is already 1!!!! He actually has been for over a week now, but I'm just now getting around to posting about it. We are having another little "party" this weekend with more of the family, but on the day after his birthday Memama and Grandaddy were coming through, so we stopped at a local park and had a picnic.

He really enjoyed his petit four.

After trying a bite and realizing this was something he definitely wanted, he just shoved the whole thing in his mouth!

He got uninterested, so big sister had to jump in and help.

He really liked it, though! We went for a walk and he wouldn't let go of it.

Genna and Grandaddy are trying to figure out if they could walk on that log across the stream.

Instead they found another place to play in the water.

Andrew and Memama watched from the bridge.

All in all, it was a fun outing.
