Havocs Game

This weekend, we went to see Andrea and Kevin, Charlie and Mary Frances and got to go to my first ever hockey game!

Memama, Genna, Eve, Mary Frances and Brian

Grandaddy and Andrea

But the real reason we were here was to watch my buddy, Charlie play during intermission!!! He is #3 in the blue jersey. We were all so proud and impressed with his skating skills!

Back at our seats, Charlie came to greet his adoring fans...

Sorry, this video is a little blurry....

More Christmas Day pics

On Christmas Day, Memama, Grandaddy, Aunt Andrea and Mary Frances came to eat lunch. Charlie was sick, so he and Uncle Kevin had to stay home. All day, Genna said over and over "Charlie sick? Poor Charlie". We really did miss him and Uncle Kevin.

The girls were so excited to see each other and Mary Frances immediately had to put on her Cinderella dress, too!

Mary Frances loved the Ariel doll that we gave her...

Memama and Grandaddy

They had so much fun playing! They would go into the playroom for awhile, then come out wearing something extra, always walking together under the umbrella.

Christmas morning

Genna had a great Christmas! This was the first year that she semi-understood what was going on. She loved looking at lights, loved the tree and other decorations, loved those same Christmas cartoons that we watched as children (Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Mickey's Christmas Carol, etc) and LOVED opening presents. I think she even understood that the reason we celebrate Christmas is because it is Jesus' birthday. Basically, she just loved every minute of Christmas and really does not understand why people have taken down their lights now.

Yes, I had to pull her hair back because it was sticking straight up! We just couldn't have Christmas morning pictures like that!

First things first, put Daisy Duck in the baby doll bed.

drawing a smiley face on her new chalkboard...

And from this point on, she is Cinderella in all of the Christmas pictures.

Oh, wait, I mean, Dr. Cinderella.

Cinderella also had to try out Mama and Daddy's Christmas present...Guitar Hero!

More to come later of our family over on Christmas Day......
